Class prices vary so please do check on the timetable. 

What do I need for my first class?

Comfortable clothes, an empty tum and an open mind! A yoga mat is very useful.

What if I am pregnant?

Congratulations! If you wish to attend class please discuss first with Jody or Sam, having checked with your medical advisor. 

What if I haven’t done any yoga before?

Then now is a great time to start! There are classes for all levels at Yoga Akasha, including beginners.

What should I wear?

Clothing that is comfortable to move and stretch in, so either loose and baggy with plenty of room, or typical gym wear like lycra or leggings etc. It is also useful to wear layers so if you become warm while practicing you can remove a layer, which can then be put back on to relax down at the end.

How long should I leave between eating and coming to class?  

You will feel more comfortable practicing with as little in you tummy as possible, I would suggest 2-3 hours after a light snack and 3-4 hours after a larger meal.
